Barbara Davids

With more than 20 years of experience, working in South Africa and the UAE, I have built a strong, solid foundation in Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with both children and adults across diverse settings, including hospitals, private clinics, community outreach programs, and schools.

This diverse experience has shaped my belief in a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy, where working alongside other therapists is key to providing comprehensive care for children and their families.

My therapy style is dynamic and versatile, aimed at keeping sessions engaging and interactive. I believe in the power of play, games, and music to make therapy enjoyable and impactful. By creating an environment that fosters fun and learning, I strive to not only support my clients' growth but also to empower parents, families, and teachers with the knowledge and strategies to help nurture and develop the skills of their child.


Outside of my professional work, I enjoy a range of hobbies that keep me balanced and inspired. I’m passionate about music, and love playing the guitar. Swimming is another one of my favorite activities, along with spending quality time with friends, exploring new languages, cultures and food. As a proud South African, nothing beats a good ‘braai’ (barbeque), where I can share great food and even better company.
