As a therapist - I use an integrative approach- ranging from cognitive behaviour therapy to internal family system to psychoanalytical therapy. Growing up because of my introspective parents- self-reflection and curiosity came to me naturally. My mother tells me the story of how I was the mother hen even for my older cousins even when I was 3 years old (I used to console them when they were crying and missing home at nursery) - so I do think empathy is also something that I had at an early age. This curiosity, self-reflection and empathy came together for me in how I quite instinctually was fascinated and pulled to counselling as a meaningful career choice. My foray into Jungian psychoanalysis was when I read the book living an examined life- by James Hollis. He invites people into listening to their soul’s calling and what it means to grow up. Does it mean achieving benchmarks set by others or does it mean leaving behind expectations of others and finding your own voice and growing into the person you were meant to be?

My story follows a woman’s path to self-realization: “Torn between two worlds, tradition and freedom, I was confused between my roles as a mother and wife and manager, yet beneath it all a teenager longing for a wild free life and love. I challenged societal norms, marriages, and tradition - all for freedom of choice... When we learn how our mind works, and understand that we can heal through different energies and states of consciousness, we have the ability to change every single aspect of our lives. Knowing this, I can teach you how to get rid of whatever you feel is holding you back. I instill a sense of confidence and power in you, and teach you to believe that you have the capacity to accomplish anything and everything.”

Hey its Lama here, and I am very excited to meet you. I am from Middle East, Jordan and I have travelled and lived in so many countries around the world. For over the last two decades, I taught and inspired children with special needs in the Middle East. I helped people who have experienced trauma in war zones in Kurdish Iraq, Dominica, and Cambodia. I worked with patients in palliative care in Olivia Newton John Cancer, Research & Wellness Centre in Australia, and I now journey with caregivers of special needs children in Singapore with Extraordinary People. My practice integrates humanistic psychotherapy with body work, movement, and the expressive arts to support individuals, including those on the Autism Spectrum. I integrate skilled touch, movement, & compassionate dialogue to help individuals relieve stress, find enhanced expressiveness, and balance all aspects of the body and mind. I also work with caregivers and parents with children with special needs.

Hi! I’m Shaima, a mental health professional with an MSc in psychology and experience in peer support, crisis intervention, social care, and psychological research. I help my clients with emotional processing, adapting to change, navigating relationships, and processing grief through tailored sessions. I am not a licensed psychologist and cannot provide a diagnosis or prescribe medication. This also means that I am not formally trained in delivering certain forms of therapy. I am trained in active listening techniques and crisis intervention. I believe in taking a holistic and individualized approach to mental health and tailor my sessions to each client by drawing on mindfulness techniques and elements of behavioral activation and psychotherapy. I am passionate about helping people help themselves. I cannot "fix" my clients, no therapist can. What I can do is hold space for you to talk, guide you through your thought processes, and offer some techniques that may help you along your personal development journey. As a Saudi American, I am passionate about supporting mental health in the Middle East mindful of the population’s diverse needs and cultural nuances.

What inspires and interests me are a few things from creating my own oil paintings (because I very well know the cathartic relief it provides), as well as having the ability to help my clients through life’s adversities by building their resilience and strengths and providing them with positive coping strategies. I relish the moments when I integrate yoga therapy along with art therapy in my workshops. What makes me, me is the fact that I integrate art into my psychology practice because art has access to parts of the brain that “talk therapy” doesn’t. It has been scientifically proven and I witness it with my clients on a daily basis. I love what I do and I think that is one of the biggest motivations and inspiration that you actually love what you do.

Welcome! I am Hanadi Beydoun and I am a Lebanese clinical psychotherapist with 4+ years of experiences. I help clients struggling with depression, grief, loss of loved ones, loneliness, sexuality, and relationship conflicts. My approach is accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP) with some elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I am passionate about providing a therapeutic space in which one could undo aloneness, work through self-acceptance using a lot of compassion and curiosity. I work with my clients while having this quote in mind “ The roots of resilience are to be found in the sense of being understood by and existing in the mind and heart of a loving attuned and self-possed other”. It is something I have experienced in my own therapy and I wish to share it with others.
