Hi! I’m Marwa. I am a speech language pathologist, and educational psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children and their families. I have worked with both pediatric and adult populations, however, my primary focus is on evaluating and treating children of all ages, with a wide range of impairments. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, and have amassed a great deal of knowledge in early intervention. I am passionate about following a family-centered approach to treatment within the motivational framework of play. I partner with families to help each child reach their highest level of function. I specialize in a positive approach to intervention; recognizing and bolstering children’s strengths, and remediating and intervening in areas of improvement.

Hey its Lama here, and I am very excited to meet you. I am from Middle East, Jordan and I have travelled and lived in so many countries around the world. For over the last two decades, I taught and inspired children with special needs in the Middle East. I helped people who have experienced trauma in war zones in Kurdish Iraq, Dominica, and Cambodia. I worked with patients in palliative care in Olivia Newton John Cancer, Research & Wellness Centre in Australia, and I now journey with caregivers of special needs children in Singapore with Extraordinary People. My practice integrates humanistic psychotherapy with body work, movement, and the expressive arts to support individuals, including those on the Autism Spectrum. I integrate skilled touch, movement, & compassionate dialogue to help individuals relieve stress, find enhanced expressiveness, and balance all aspects of the body and mind. I also work with caregivers and parents with children with special needs.
